La Banane [Magenta / Olive / Grey 500D Nylon]

We adapt our banana to the raw materials we find. Here, a color combination we particularly like: olive and magenta! The tarpaulin comes from off-cuts and end-of-rolls recovered from an Alsatian company, while the cordura comes from dormant stocks of French manufacturer Alpex.

The banana is water-resistant thanks to its roll-top closure system. Its size is ideal for your wallet, your phone, a small snack, your favorite compact camera, or even a few repair tools. The back belt has been designed to give you ergonomic contact that cushions and breathes. This bag has a main volume of 2.9L (unfolded), an inside pocket, an outside pocket, and several attachment points for a carabiner, lamp, keys, tools or pens. The elastic cord under the hip bag allows you to quickly put on your extra layer or water bottle The drawstring loops are made from fluorescent vests, giving you visibility in traffic. This little bag will accompany you around town, on your travels or on your gravel and bikepacking outings.

We’ll leave you spoilt for choice when it comes to color, but one thing we can say for sure is that you’re likely to get the question: “Say, what’s your banana?” =)

A “third point” strap is available as an option if you wish to prevent your banana from slipping when slung over your shoulder. Finally, you can also choose a colored elastic cord to be braided under the banana instead of the original black cord.

Like all our luggage, the Manivelle banana is handmade in Strasbourg by the superb Libre Objet team, using truck tarpaulins and technical fabrics from dormant stocks. So, if you should break your banana, we can take it back to the workshop and repair it!
