DETOUR theme #02: “Why is bikepacking not a story of gender”

The evening will take place in two stages:

_Sea to Peak 2021 film screening, an all-terrain ultra-distance adventure from the sea to the mountains, organized by Erminig Bikepacking Adventures

_Discussion with Camille Defer and François Chapotte, participant and participant of this event. This feedback will make it possible to address several questions relating to ultra-distance (preparation, food, sleep, equipment, etc.) and also to put gender issues into perspective in the practice of bikepacking. As Camille wrote in her review of the GTB 2020, this discussion “is for all the women who do not yet dare to embark on this type of adventure”, and not only, since it is not is not a story of genres!

DETOUR what is it?

One thematic evening per month, around cycling travel and cycling culture in general. Through conferences, film screenings, round tables and discussions, we want to offer a space and a time for sharing for local enthusiasts, whether you are a beginner or an expert. The DETOUR evenings take place at the Manivelle workshop, located in the third place of the Ateliers Éclairés.

A bar area is open all evening with draft beer, soft drinks and snacks. We invite you to bring small dishes to share to make the moment warm!
