WE’VE JUST RELEASED A FRAME BAG

We hesitated a little before deciding to offer a framebag. It’s a simple product, and there are already quite a few on the market. And then we realized that framebags made in small series in France, from upycled materials, with waterproof laminated textiles in fun colors, were much less common!

This launch also marks the evolution of our workshop activity, since we developed an in-house textile workshop last year. We can now produce bespoke projects and small series directly in the workshop. The idea is to develop our in-house production in parallel with the production of Libre Objet, the social workshop in charge for manufacturing our bags since 2019. For our “standart” products, this internalization will enable us to do two things:

– be able to work on smaller production scales than with Libre Objet, so that we can manage our stocks more flexibly for “niche” products

– work on more complex assemblies requiring specific machinery (for improved waterproofing, or greater resistance to weight for exemple)

Our framebag is therefore the first first reference to be produced entirely in the Manivelle workshop.. We start by laser-cutting all the patterns, to reduce manufacturing time and offer the bag at the best possible price. We then launch a small series of bags between two bespoke productions, according to demand.
