Discover the Manu’s Manivelle N°45!
“I came by train and tramway, I’m ready to roll! I have an aperitif in town at the end of the day, until then I’ll be roaming the city and its surroundings!”
We are on November 10th, an early afternoon lulled by one of these winter suns that makes you want to leave quickly before the night falls. Manu arrives a little before 3pm for the delivery of his Manivelle N°45. We prepare a coffee, chat a little about our respective news while feeling the excitement rising in Manu, who turns his back to his bike hidden under a sheet, not to crack. But the torticollis is waiting for him, and we succumb without reluctance to reveal his project.
His voice is getting faster, his words are getting a little confused, his hands are getting more active, going over the frame, the luggage racks.
Manu’s Manivelle N°45 makes you want to jump on the saddle and play with its versatility. Mounted in its most touring configuration, we can also imagine it in its road configuration by removing the rear rack, the front side supports, the mudguards, or in its gravel configuration, by mounting bigger and cramped balls.
Manu grabs his new bike and takes it outside for the first rides.
“It’s amazing. Everything falls into place!”
Manu makes several laps around the neighborhood, quickly gets his bearings, starts to push on the pedals, the bike returns to him well. He is delighted, and so are we.
“The bike makes me want to speed up all the time! It’s super dynamic.”
When we arrived at the meeting, Manu was talking about an upcoming bikepacking project in March (in winter, he rather practices mountain biking). After this first fitting, he tells us about the next weekend.
So good luck Manu, and thank you for your confidence!
